VERY RARE ORIGINAL 1932 HEINRICH HOFFMANN

PHOTO BOOK ON THE HISTORY OF SA AND SS

DAS BRAUNE HEER

SUBTITLED “LIFE, BATTLE AND VICTORY OF SA AND SS”

WITH 100 PHOTOS FROM THE EARLY DAYS OF STURMABTEILUNG & SCHUTZSTAFFEL

The 7-1/4 x 10 inch, 96-page soft cover book was published in 1932 by Heinrich Hoffmann, Adolf Hitler’s personal photographer and photo reporter of the NSDAP Reich Leadership. The book came out one year prior to the historic date when Adolf Hitler became Chancellor of Germany. The book contains 100 extremely interesting photos of the begin of the Brownshirts and the Schutzstaffel or SS that had its origins in the Stosstrupp Hitler, his personal bodyguard squadron. The sought after book was published by Zeitgeschichte Verlag in Berlin. The copy offered here comes without the dust jacket but is otherwise in very nice condition and priced accordingly. Copies with original jacket of this hard-to-find book sell for a lot more. The book still has pictures of SA Leader Stabschef Ernst Röhm. Pictures of him were eliminated in all German publications after the “Night Of The Long Knives” in 1934.
