Offered for sale are 12 issues (Feb. 1942 to Apr. 1943) of the ‘Top Secret’ periodical published by the Chef der Sicherheitspolizei SS-Gruppenführer Reinhard Heydrich
KRIMINALISTIK
THESE WERE NEVER FOR PUBLIC SALE AND ONLY CIRCULATED WITHIN THE POLICE AND SD
This sought after and extremely interesting periodical was issued once a month by order of the Reichsführer-SS and head of the German Police Heinrich Himmler and published by his deputy, head of the Sicherheitspolizei SS-Gruppenführer Reinhard Heydrich. Each magazine contained new legislations and laws, all kinds of crimes from bigamy to violent murder, court decisions, forensic evidence, examples of forgeries as well as new developed technology to bring criminals to justice. Single issues of this hard to find SS/Police publication sometimes sell for high prices if they surface (we have seen single copies sell for $100 and more). Here is the rare opportunity to get 12 issues of 1942 and 1943, bound into one volume in excellent condition! Their size is 190 x 263mm or 7-1/2 x 10-3/8 inch and the 12 issues together have about 240 pages with many illustrations. Most of the covers are stamped ‘Streng Geheim!’ (Top Secret!) and all have the SS eagle on the cover. Until the April 1942 issue Reinhard Heydrich’s name was on the cover as the publisher, then no issues were published in May and June 1942 and July/August were two issues in one. All that must have something to do with Heydrich’s assassination that took place at that time.
A real asset and must-have for everyone who is interested in historical Third Reich Police and SS material!
