The size of this hard-to-find soft cover photo book is 8 x 10-1/2 inch with about 100 pages and about the same number of excellent photos about the historic event in 1938 when Austria became part of the German Third Reich which from then on was called “Grossdeutsches Reich” (Greater German Reich). The photos are from Hitler’s personal photographer, Reichsbildberichterstatter Prof. Heinrich Hoffmann and the book was published in 1938 by the Verlag Heinrich Hoffmann in Munich. The original dust jacket shows some wear along the edges, otherwise book and jacket are in very nice condition. This is one of the harder to find Hoffmann photo books from the series of books on Adolf Hitler.
