This 7 x 9-3/4 inch, 160-page hardcover book by Julius Streicher was published in 1938 by the Stürmer Buchverlag in Nürnberg. The book is in very good condition. Only the first four pages have some stain spots, no smells, no damage, no missing pages. The book contains the historic speeches Julius Streicher held in the years 1918 to 1933, prior to the day when Adolf Hitler was elected Reich Chancellor. Streicher, who was one of the few who were sentenced to death and hung as “war criminals” at the Nuremberg trials, was one of the most notorious Jew haters in the German Reich. All the speeches that are presented in this scarce book are blaming the Jew for everything bad that happened in Germany and in the entire world and that there will be only hail to the German nation (and the entire world) if they get rid of the Jews! There are a whole bunch of very interesting full-page pictures of posters, each of them announcing date, location and theme of another anti-Semitic Streicher speech. Just like the extremely anti-Jewish books for children (Der Giftpilz, Trau keinem Fuchs & Der Pudelmopsdackelpinscher) this book was of course material that the Allies (and the surviving Jews) wanted to see burned and only few copies survived the De-Nazification. This is the first copy that we are presenting in several years and it might take a while before we find another, so don’t miss out.
