Original 15 June 1936 dated calling card in very nice condition, written and signed in ink by Heinrich Himmler. Comes with Certificate of Authenticity issued by Don Boyle. The text says ‘Viele herzl. Wünsche u. Grüße von meiner Frau und mir an das Patenkind u. seine tapfere Mutter. Heil Hitler 15. VI. 36 herzlichst H. Himmler’ (Many heartfelt wishes and greetings from my wife and me to the godchild and its brave mother. Heil Hitler 15. VI. 36 heartfelt H. Himmler).
This rare early Heinrich Himmler handwritten calling card is from the personal collection of Don Boyle and is one of his best. It has a punch hole in it as it was given to a woman and her child, and we believe the card was attracted to the gift he was giving. There is a woman’s name in light pencil on the front. Most likely the person it was given to. The card is 3 1/2 inches by 2 inches. This card has Himmler’s early stylized SS with early 1936 date. This has the most writing of any cards we have ever had.
