Offered for sale is this rare original poster in excellent condition: poster of Hitler standing with the headline “Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Führer!” (One People, one Reich, one Führer!). Its size is 16-1/2 x 23-1/4 inches or 420x590mm. It was rolled up in a tube for decades until we unrolled it to take photos. Overall nice condition and will look stunning when framed.
The poster was done after an original painting by Heinrich Knirr 1935-1936, based on a photograph by Prof. Heinrich Hoffmann from 1935. After Hitler’s approval of the image, it was widely used as Nazi propaganda. The slogan “Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Führer!” was one of the central slogans used by Hitler and the Nazi Party. Nazi propaganda portrayed their leader (Der Führer) as the living embodiment of the German nation and people. This slogan reinforced the cult of Hitler, him being the savior of Germany and father of the German people.
