This scarce family history book was published by the NSDAP in cooperation with the Rassenpolitisches Amt der NSDAP (office for racial affaires in the NSDAP) and the Reichsbund Deutsche Familie (RDF or Reichs organization of the German family). This fantastic book was meant to be a guide for the German family to follow the National Socialist rules regarding purity of blood, involvement in Nazi organizations, etc. It was also meant to be a remembrance book for future generations in this family. There are a lot of pages with space for entries or to paste in photos and a sleeve in the back holds the original applications used to gather the information that then went into this book. This book offered here was never used and is in very good condition. The Lebenspass was usually kept in the so called Julecke (Jul Corner) of the house, an altar-like setup to honor the ancestors and keep the “Aryan” family history alive.
