RARE EARLY ‘KAMPFZEIT’ PERIOD ‘CHROMOLITHOGRAPH’ PORTRAIT OF ADOLF HITLER

SKU: F-523 Category:

Offered for sale is a RARE ORIGINAL 1930’s ‘KAMPFZEIT’ PORTRAIT ON WOOD OF ADOLF HITLER DONE IN CHROMOLITHOGRAPH TECHNIQUE AND OFFERED WITH FULL MONEY BACK GUARANTEE FOR AUTHENTICITY. The handwriting on the back must have been written by a German who’s dreams of a Nazi German were crushed: ‘Deutschlands Untergang – Dein Werk – Ver-Führer 22.9.45’ (Germany’s Downfall – your accomplishment – Mis-Leader 22 Sep 1945). The stamps say that this piece was approved by Hitler and that the company in Freiburg had the exclusive to selling these in the Baaden region.

This hard to find original 220 x 290mm or 8-5/8 x 11-1/2 inch ‘Kampfzeit’ period portrait of Adolf Hitler from around 1930 is done on wood in what we believe the chromolithograph technique, where the printing is direct onto a piece of plywood and then sealed, probably using a heating process, giving the effect as if the portrait has been painted on wood. The back is plain wood without any surface treatment, causing a slight warp. There used to be a brass hanger at the top that got lost over time but can easily be replaced. The facial expression is amazing and the picture draws you in. A rare early Third Reich artifact, offered with full money back guarantee for authenticity.
