The 9-1/2 x 12-1/2 inch, 410-page hardcover book was written by Hans Henning Freiherr Grote with the assistance of many high rank Nazi Party officials. It was published in June of 1933, only a few months after the National Socialist seizure of power that made Adolf Hitler the elected Reich Chancellor of Germany. It was published by the National Vertriebsstelle “Ruhrland” and contains 200+ photos and tables plus a lot of very interesting in-depth information on the early days of NSDAP history. The book begins with the “stab-in-the-back” theory that ended World War One in 1918, leading to chaos and misery in Germany, goes on with the treaty of Versailles with all its consequences for the German people, the inflation, record high unemployment, the catastrophic political situation, the horrible living conditions for many Germans and the heroic battles of the SA stormtroopers against the Bolshevists. There are many reports about all the difficulties, obstacles and injustice the Nazi Party had to face for many years until they finally came to power in 1933. A very interesting piece of National Socialist propaganda in very nice condition.
