This excellent 6-1/2 x 9-1/2 inches soft cover book with 132 pages was published 1935 by order of the Reichs Labor Leader of Arbeitsgau XXXII, located in the Saarland which became part of the German Reich again the same year. It was printed in the Saarland and is in as-new condition. The heavily illustrated book (with pictures on nearly every page) tells how the Abteilungen (battalions) in the Arbeitsgau received their names. Each Abteilung does not only have a number (i.e. Abteilung 4/324) and the location where it is stationed (i.e. Abteilung 4/324 Herxheim) but also a name of honor, either from a fellow Nazi who got killed in the battle for the freedom of the occupied Saarland such as SA stormtrooper Otto Schmelzer, a famous town in the Saarland or a Saarland celebrity from the past, i.e. World War One hero Heinrich, Ritter von Geissler.
