The 8-1/2 x 10-1/4 inch, 142 page soft cover book was published by order of Heinrich Himmlers SS-Hauptamt (Head Office) and printed by Bruckmann in Munich. The heavily illustrated book deals about the ancient tribes (of course all Aryans) that populated the area that became the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia under the Nazis (that’s where Heydrich worked until his assassination) with plenty of photos of ancient artifacts as well as maps and illustrations. It was one of Himmler’s pet projects to find out where the ‘Aryan’ race originated. He even sent off and financed through the SS an expedition to the Himalayas! A very interesting racial SS study in very good condition.
