RARE 1935 ILLUSTRATED ‘PATRIOTIC’ NAZI SCHOOL BOOK FROM FRANKFURT
This 6 x 9 inch, 74-page hardcover book was published in 1935 by Moritz Diesterweg Verlag in Frankfurt. The first reading and writing book for first and second graders in schools contains short stories from everyday life as well as from the animal kingdom and a bit of National Socialist propaganda. The book definitely was used by a young child on a frequent basis 80 years ago and could be rebound by a bookbinder with little effort.
