THIRD REICH WEHRPASS / HEER & 1944 DISCHARGE DOCUMENT SET
The Wehrpass was issued in 1941 to Alfons Brumm who was assigned to several Pioneer Battalions and since his civilian background was strongly connected to the water (his father owned a ship and he was a ‘Bootsmann’), he received training to steer fast attack boats (Sturmboot). His rank was Obergefreiter but something must have happened to him that made him unfit for duty and in 1944 when it was basically all hands-on-deck for the Germans, he was discharged from active service.
