The 6-3/4 x 9-1/2 inch, 45-page magazine was published by the OKW or High Command of the Wehrmacht as a ‘Tornisterschrift’, meaning to be carried by the soldier in his backpack. Each issue contained short stories (a lot of it written by soldiers for soldiers), political propaganda, some photos and some illustrations. Offered here is the January 1941 issue in very nice condition.
