This interesting 12 x 8-1/2 inch hardcover book was the official daily log for an NSDAP social services office in Gau (district) Hessen-Nassau. The ‘Hilfstelle Mutter und Kind’ was an official NSDAP institution to help German ‘Aryan’ mothers with children in need. The NSV (N.S.-Volkswohlfahrt) also operated Kindergarten throughout the Reich.
