SELLER GIVES FULL MONEY BACK GUARANTEE FOR AUTHENTICITY
This is a direct veteran bring back grouping once belonging to Hermann Göring. A USA veteran stationed in Germany 1945-1946 retrieved these items from what was Hermann Göring’s house in the Obersalzberg area near Berchtesgaden. Herman Göring had many items evacuated from his Carinhall hunting lodge in northern Germany to Berchtesgaden as the war came to an end. At wars end many items fell into the hands of veterans and locals. This grouping consists of items belonging to Hermann Göring from his WWI time as a fighter pilot. The grouping consists of two silver rings and a silver award piece. The first ring is a large solid ring of 835 silver and marked accordingly on the inside of the band. Its design is that of a totenkopf skull with a pilots leather helmet and goggles. Beautiful patina and a heavy substantial piece. Approximate size US 9. The second ring is also a Totenkopf skull in 835 silver and marked according on the inside of the band. It has two blue gemstones set as eyes. Interesting in that people always remarked that Hermann Goring had piercing blue eyes. Band is marked 1914-1916 for WWI service time. Ring is approximate size US 9.5 The third item in the grouping is a beautiful silver piece representing an early German aircraft on its original presentation placket. High quality silver with a beautiful patina. This is an evocative early grouping of Hermann Göring from his WWI days as a fighter pilot, bought from the veteran decades ago.
