ORIGINAL 1942 LUFTWAFFE PHOTO YEARBOOK

The 7 x 9-1/2 inch, 186-page hardcover books were published by order of the Oberkommando der Luftwaffe (High Command of the Air Force) by Verlag Breitkopf and Haertel in Leipzig. The yearbook series was started in 1937, each book contains a ton of information pertaining the German Luftwaffe, new planes, strategies, war photographs (in the 1939 and onward editions) and much more! The Foreword is written by the Oberbefehlshaber der Luftwaffe, Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring. The same kind of yearbooks were also published for the Heer (Infantry/Panzer) and Kriegsmarine (Nazi Navy/U-Boats).
