The 5 x 8 inch, 64-page soft cover book by Paul Ortwin Rave was published 1941 by Koehler & Biermann Amelang Verlag in Leipzig, Germany. The book contains a lot of historical information on Berlin’s way from a small settlement in the heart of Prussia to the big city that was the capital of Hitler’s Germany. The book contains several illustrations that show Berlin’s growth over the centuries. It is not a photo book as it was originally supposed to be the companion of a photo book on Berlin that was never published. The book is in very good condition and will make a nice addition for anyone’s collection of historical material on Berlin.
