‘WIR VOM ALPENKORPS’

This heavily illustrated 8 x 10 inch, 142-page hardcover book by Major Manz was published in 1939 by order of the Generalkommando XVIII Alpenkorps by NS-Gauverlag Tirol in Innsbruck. It is a very comprehensive original Third Reich photo documentation about the Nazi Mountain Troops. Some wrinkles on the upper right corner on a number of pages, otherwise nice condition. Comes with its original dust jacket. This copy was presented to Oberkompanieführer Franz Schafzahl when he was honorably discharged from active service in 1941.
