The 6-1/4 x 8-1/4 inch, 244 page hardcover book by Else Stein and Ursel Schneider-Schlicht was published in 1938 by Junge Generation Verlag in Berlin. The book is a very interesting photo documentation of the mandatory labor service that every BDM girl had to fulfill. It was called ‘Landjahr’ or also ‘Pflichtjahr’ and the young women mostly helped out on German farms. A great book in very nice condition.
