ORIGINAL 1938 / 1942 KRIEGSMARINE & 1942 LUFTWAFFE YEARBOOKS

The 7 x 9-1/2 inch, 186-page hardcover books were published by order of the Oberkommando der Kriegsmarine (High Command of the Navy) and Oberkommando der Luftwaffe (High Command of the Air Force) by Verlag Breitkopf and Haertel in Leipzig. The yearbook series was started in 1937, each book contains a ton of information pertaining the German Naval Forces, new battleships, strategies, war photographs (in the 1939 and onward editions) and much more! The Forewords are written by the Oberbefehlshaber der Kriegsmarine (Commander of the Navy), Generaladmiral Dr. h.c. Raeder and for the 1942 Luftwaffe yearbook by Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring. The same kind of yearbooks were also published for the Heer (Infantry/Panzer) and we have a number of volumes listed on this website as well. This lot includes the heavily illustrated Kriegsmarine volumes 1938 and 1942 as well as the 1942 volume for the Luftwaffe. All three are in good to very good condition and contain excellent photo material.
