The 10-1/4 x 14-1/2 inch, 96-page soft cover publication is volume one of the 1. and 2. Olympia – Sonderheft (1st and 2nd Olympic Games Special Issue), published by the Berliner Illustrirte Zeitung, a heavily illustrated weekly periodical of the newspaper Berliner Zeitung. Volume one, offered here, is a detailed documentary of the participating nations and their athletes and how they prepared for the games. Volume two is a detailed report of the sixteen days of the XI. Summer Olympics that took place in Hitler’s Berlin. Very good condition and great photo material.
