This 9-1/2 x 11-1/2 x 2-1/2 inch hardcover book in half leather with ornate spine was published by order of the ‘Deutscher Reichsausschuss für Leibesübungen‘, the state-controlled umbrella organization for physical exercise in Germany. It was published in 1927 by Olympia Verlag in Munich and is printed on hand crafted heavy stock paper (Büttenpapier). The book is an account of all Olympic Games of modern times, up to a preview of the upcoming 1928 Olympic Games in Amsterdam. The book has 320+ photos and illustartions, 20 of the min full color. It is in very nice condition; the binding is tight and no damage to any of the pages. Enclosed is a 1928 booklet on the Olympic Games in Amsterdam.
