This hard to find 8 x 10-1/2 inch soft cover photo book was published in 1940 as a book for Christmas by Reich Youth Leader Baldur von Schirach, printed by Central Publishing House of the NSDAP, Franz Eher Nachf. in Munich. The book has about 100 pages and about the same amount of excellent full page photographs! The book shows the highlights of the first seven years of Nazi Germany, from the day Hitler was appointed Reich Chancellor in 1933 to the war in Norway and against England in 1940. There are great photos of the 1937 World Exhibition in Paris, the new Wehrmacht, Reich Party Days, Reichsautobahn, lots and lots of Hitler photos, political victories such as the homecoming of the Saar region, the Sudetenland, the annex of Austria, Hitler Youth, Reich Labor Service and much more – too much to list it all!
The book is in very good condition and comes with the rare original (often damaged or completely missing) dust jacket! A very interesting item and an asset to every collection of original Third Reich material!
