The 7 x 10-1/4 inch, 440-page hardcover book in very nice condition by Gustav Roscher (Police President of Hamburg at the time) was published in 1912 by Otto Meissner Verlag in Hamburg. The book was meant to be a helpful guide for the Police officer in Hamburg. It is filled with all kind of examples of crimes and heavily illustrated with 350 pictures.
