This excellent 6 x 9 inch, 228-page hardcover book in very nice condition by Horst Herutt was published in 1941 by Zentralverlag der NSDAP in Munich. The title is one of the key slogans of the Hitler Youth and translates ‘The Flag is more important than Death’. The book contains heroic stories with nice illustrations and was aimed at HJ boys and how the country expects them to be as brave and strong as the characters in the stories.
