This scarce 8 x 11-3/4 inch, 86-page soft cover book was published 1938 by order of Reichsstatthalter Robert Wagner. The copy offered here is in very good condition and comes with the original dust jacket. This book was presented to a Ludwig Maier, a civil servant, on occasion to becoming a member of the NSDAP (see below the dedication which is pasted into the book before the title page). The book contains very little text but is full of photos of new structures in the Gau Baden, built in the first five years under Adolf Hitler. Shown are residential settlements and single-family homes, industrial complexes, Youth Hostels, Reichsautobahn, government buildings and more. A very interesting item in excellent condition.
