This fantastic 12 x 15 inch hardcover book with 120 heavily illustrated pages was published in 1939, shortly after the completion of Nazi Germany’s most amazing building: Adolf Hitler’s New Reichschancellery. The rare book from the 4th edition is in very good condition and comes with its rare original dust jacket. The author is no other than Albert Speer, published in 1939 by NSDAP Central Publishing House, Franz Eher in Munich. There are no loose or torn pages, the colors of the full color photos are as crisp as on the day when this book was printed and the binding is tight, no water damage either. The book depicts the exterior and interior of the building in great detail, including the Schmidt-Ehmen eagles or the Josef Thorak bronze horses on the terrace flanking AH’s office, mosaics, furniture, wall tapestries, etc., as well as fold-out blueprints of the building in the back of the book.
