Extremely rare 19-5/8 x 2 inches or 495 x 50mm brass plaque that was recently found in Nürnberg during the remodeling of a house. It contains the well-known anti-Semitic saying that was coined by Julius Streicher’s Stürmer Publishing House and that was also the title of one of his anti-Semitic children’s books: ‘TRAU KEINEM FUCHS AUF GRÜNER HEID – UND KEINEM JUD BEI SEINEM EID’ (Never Trust A Fox On The Green Meadow Or  A Jew Giving An Oath). We have not cleaned it and left it the way it was found in Nürnberg, hidden for the last 80 years in a door panel. The way the two screw holes look it was screwed on somewhere until taken down in a hurry, probably in May of 1945 and then hidden.
