The 7 x 9-1/2 inch, 72-page hardcover book in near mint condition by Dorothea Rudolph was published in 1938 by ‘Der nationale Aufbau’ Verlag in Leipzig. It is a very interesting photo documentation of the mandatory labor service that every BDM girl had to fulfill. It was called ‘Landjahr’ or also ‘Pflichtjahr’ and the young women mostly helped out on German farms.
