These monthly periodicals were published by Central Publishing House of the NSDAP to educate the German people about Third Reich art and architecture. Die Kunst im Dritten (Deutschen) Reich was published in two editions, Ausgabe A and Ausgabe B, which contained a longer chapter on architecture. Prof. Albert Speer and Dr. Ing Fritz Todt (until his death in 1942) were mainly responsible for the content of these excellent periodicals, also one of Hitler’s other favorite architects, Gerdy Troost. The size of these amazing periodicals on high quality paper (even during war times Speer did not go cheap) is 11 x 14 inch and each issue contains great photo material, a lot of it full page photos and some even in full color. Offered here are all issues of the year 1942 in very good condition, bound in the original hardcover binder.
