The 6-1/4 x 9-1/4 inch hardcover books were published by order of the High Command of the Nazi Navy (Oberkommando der Kriegsmarine) by Verlag Mittler & Sohn in Berlin. The set includes all six wartime volumes from 1939 to 1944. The books contain a ton of information of anything related to naval warfare, both German and of Germany’s enemies as well as some great Third Reich advertisings. A very interesting book set for anyone interested in the German (and Allied) war at sea, naval defenses at shore, amphibious military vehicles, Navy warplanes, etc.
