ORIGINAL 1941 PHOTO BOOK WAR AGAINST THE SOWJET RED ARMY IN THE UKRAINE

‘GEGEN DIE SOWJETARMEE’

This 6 x 8-1/2 inch, 140-page hardcover photo book was published in December of 1941 by an Infantry Regiment (Field Post Nr. 13019) and is an account of the early stages of the war against the Soviets. The unit that published this well illustrated book saw action in the Ukraine and was involved in the battles for Kiev in 1941. 80+ years later the Ukraine unfortunately is in the spotlight again, this time not attacked by the Germans but from the east. An interesting book in nice condition.
