Each issue contained the latest news on Hitler Youth, school system and what the National Socialists had again achieved. In 1940 they launched a nationwide prize competition ‘Das Kriegserlebnis im Jugendschriftum’ and the best works were bound into this 6-1/4 x 8-1/2 inch, 320-page hardcover book.
