The 8-1/2 x 11 inch, 352-page hardcover book in fair condition was written by Ernst Graf zu Reventlow and published in 1933 by Zentralstelle Deutscher Freiheitskampf (Central Agency For Germany’s Battle For Liberty). The book contains 63 black and white photos plus a huge fold-out photo in the back. The author describes the crushed Germany of 1918, the unjust Treaty of Versailles, the raise of the Nazi Party from a handful of men to the historic day when Adolf Hitler was appointed Reich Chancellor; with documentaries about the failed Beer Hall Putsch of 9 November 1923 in Munich, Hitler’s time in Landsberg Prison that he used to write his bestseller Mein Kampf, among other interesting facts about the early days of National Socialism in Germany. A very interesting piece of historic Third Reich literature. The binding is not very tight anymore and a mouse ate a bit in the lower left corner but without affecting the text or pictures and the book is priced accordingly.
