This very interesting 12 x 16-1/2(!) inch hardcover book in excellent condition was published in 1937 by order of the Central Office of the German Labor Front. Leader of the Deutsche Arbeitsfront was Reichsorganisationsleiter Dr. Robert Ley. The purpose of this book was to get the history and important information of companies in a German community that were in line with the Nazi Party documented in one honorary book. The copy presented here has several entries from different companies in it, very interesting historical material. The book comes with an original letter from the Nazi authorities plus a “manual” explaining the purpose of this book and what was supposed to be documented in it. This book is a great reference for anyone who is interested in the German Labor Front and how much the Nazi Party was involved in the German work force. One prerequisite for a company to make it into the book was probably to be awarded with the title Nationalsozialistischer Musterbetrieb (National Socialist Model Factory).
