This limited edition 11 x 15 inch, 52-page hardcover book by SS-Ahnenerbe Stiftung Verlag in Berlin-Dahlem, Germany with excellent full color illustrations was published in 1938 on occasion of Hermann Göring’s daughters’ Edda’s first Christmas. The book uses examples from the animal kingdom to explain human characteristics. The hamster’s habit to hoard food i.e., is put into comparison with Hermann Göring and his Four-Year Plan.
