SELDOM SEEN PIECE OF THIRD REICH IDENTIFICATION

Offered for sale is this original ‘Rahmenausweis’ or metal-framed identification document. These were for workers in war important factories and installations where extra security measures were required. This kind of document obviously must have been hard to fake back then. The original owner (looking a bit like Mussolini) of this Rahmenausweis worked in a mine in Salzgitter. The design of this hard-to-find metal-framed ID was even patented.
