This aluminum tag has a diameter of 40mm or 1-9/16 inch. It went on a license plate signifying that this is an official vehicle used by the ‘Landrat’ (County Commissioner), chief NSDAP bureaucrat of the area. This peticular tag came from Opladen, a suburb of Leverkusen, located a few miles north of Cologne.
