IN ITS ORIGINAL STURDY WOODEN PROTECTIVE BOX

MADE BY OLYMPIA BÜROMASCHINENWERKE AG ERFURTH

Offered for sale is this very nice and fully functional Third Reich typewriter, made by the well-known German company Olympia Büromschinenwerke in Erfurth and issued to the Nazi Wehrmacht. This typewriter does not have the so called ‘Sondertaste’ (special key with the SS runes) but instead it comes in its original sturdy wooden transport and protective box. Since several years this is the first one we are offering. The box is in just as nice condition as the typewriter itself (with the exception that the paint on the outside of the box is partly gone while the typewriter’s finish looks great) and even still has the original manual glued to the inside of the lid. It would be interesting to know in which campaigns this historic artifact participated!
