This 5-1/4 x 7-1/2 inch, 220-page hardcover book by Walter Gericke was published in 1940 by Schützen Verlag in Berlin. It is an excellent photo documentation of the life as and the duties of a Fallschirmjäger or paratrooper in the Third Reich with many photos of training and combat missions. The author was a highly decorated paratrooper himself.
