RARE ORIGINAL 1934 ‘PATRIOTIC’ THIRD REICH FAMILY BOOK

(THE FAMILY CHRONICLES)

This scarce family history book was published in 1934 by order of Hans Schemm, founder of the Nazi Teacher’s Organization (NS-Lehrerbund). This beautifully crafted 8-1/2 x 12 inch item was meant to be a guide for the German family to follow the National Socialist rules regarding purity of blood, involvement in Nazi organizations, etc. It was also meant to be a remembrance book for future generations in this family. There are about 80 pages with space for entries or to paste in photos as well as a fold-out family tree. This book offered here was never used and is in near mint condition. The Chronik was usually kept in the so called Julecke (Yule Corner) of the house, an altar-like setup to honor the ancestors and keep the “Aryan” family history alive.
