The book contains the most important dates and facts about the origins and history of the German National Socialism. It was published as a school book and German boys and girls in Hitler-Germany learned from it about Hitler and his Nazi Party. The author, Johann von Leers, alias Omar Amin, (January 25, 1902 – March 5, 1965) was a German professor known for his anti-Jewish polemics. He was one of the most important ideologues of the Third Reich and later served in the Egyptian Information Department. He published for Dr. Joseph Goebbels, then in Peron’s Argentina and for Nasser’s Egypt. He converted to Islam, and changed his name to Omar Amin.
