RARE BOOK FROM I.G. FARBEN LIBRARY AT AUSCHWITZ CONCENTRATION CAMP

Offered for sale is this rare chemistry book that once belonged to the science library of the well-known I.G. Farben company that had a huge factory at infamous Auschwitz concentration camp. We were fortunate to secure a two original books from that library that show some wear, but the binding is tight, and they are in very collectable condition. The book contains several IG Farben Auschwitz inventory stamps, some in German and some in Polish (see pictures), probably because the books were used in a Polish library in Oswiecimia after the war. I.G. Farben was one of the companies that took advantage of the cheap labor that was steadily supplied by Auschwitz concentration camp. The book that is offered here is guaranteed to having belonged to the I.G. Farben library at Auschwitz (Oswiecimia in Polish) and who knows how few books from that library have survived to this day.
