A rare and sought after original Third Reich poster as they were plastered on walls and ‘Litfass-Säulen (large, cylindrical announcement boards that were all over Germany), coming from the estate of an NSDAP Ortsgruppen Propaganda Leader of the name Adolf Kautz from the Karlsruhe area. Measures approximately 33 inches by 24 inches or 840 x 600mm. The poster describes the horrible living conditions in Russia and the headline ‘Lieber in Deutschland im Zuchthaus als im Sowjet-“Paradies” in Freiheit!’ translates: ‘Better being in jail in Germany than being free in the Soviet-Paradise!’

Very few of such original posters have survived because they were either glued on a wall someplace or destroyed during or after the war.  Will look great when framed.
