This 7-3/4 x 10-1/2 inch, 96 page soft cover book was published in 1938 by Heinrich Hoffmann Publishing House in Munich. Offered here is a copy of the hard-to-find Erstausgabe (First Edition 1. – 50. Tausend), with the rare original dust jacket. Prof. Heinrich Hoffmann’s official title was Photobildberichterstatter der Reichsleitung der NSDAP (official photographer of the NSDAP Reich Leadership and Hitlers personal photographer). The book is a photo report about Adolf Hitler’s State visit to Italy. The book contains an introduction by Reichspressechef (Reich Press Leader) Dr. Otto Dietrich, followed by a photo chapter with 126 excellent black & white photos. Hoffmann published dozens of photo books on Adolf Hitler, and all have become rare collectibles today, Hitler in Italien is among the hard ones to find. A rare addition to every collection of historic Third Reich, especially Adolf Hitler history.
