This 6-1/4 x 9-1/4 inch, 585-page hardcover book in nice condition was published in 1937 by the Reichsverband des Adress- und Anzeigen Buchverlagsgewerbes and printed by Deutscher Lebensraum Verlag in Berlin. Many artists from theater, movie, concert and performing arts worked for the Reichsrundfunk, the Third Reich radio broadcasting which was under Dr. Joseph Goebbels’ command. The plan was to create a reference for the intendants or superintendents at the different radio stations of the Reichsrundfunk in which they would easily find exactly the right person they need to perform a certain task on radio. The book lists hundreds and hundreds of the most important actors, actresses, musicians, artists, commentators, etc. who worked for the Reichsrundfunk at that time! Only 3,000 copies were published and given to the intendants at the radio stations, it seems as if this book was never for public sale.
