The 6-1/4 x 8-1/2 inch, 36-page book contains poems on Hitler, Hitler Youth, Nazi martyrs, etc. written by Hitler Youth boys. It was published in 1935 by order of HJ Leader Baldur v. Schirach in a strictly limited edition as a Christmas gift for the members of his staff as well as a number of hand-picked supporters of the Hitler-Jugend. It was printed by the Graphische Kunstanstalt Fritsch in Berlin. The booklet is clad in pig skin which has become a little spotty over the last 80+ years and there are some occasional stain spots but when have you last seen another copy?!
