Original Third Reich Heim Ins Reich (Home in the Nation) NSDAP Pin- A 24mm diameter, die struck zinc and painted badge featuring a black outer border with the script, “Heim Ins Reich” (Home In-the Reich) encompassing a white field with a red mobile swastika. On the back is a soldered a pin-back device with a circular base plate and beneath which is embossed the manufacturer’s initials “K. & Q.”. Scarce to see in the painted style and in near mint or better condition.

During the 1930s, Hitler wanted those people of German heritage living in countries such as Austria, Czechslovakia, Poland etc, to support the idea of the countries joining the Greater German Reich. To this end, supporters of the cause wore the Heim Ins Reich enamel badge. Since all of those countries came under the jurisdiction of Germany after 1939, the Heim Ins Reich campaign had been fulfilled.
