ORIGINAL KDF METAL MONEY BOX
‘VOLKS-SPAR-AUTOMAT FÜR DEN URLAUB’
Offered here is an original money box from the 1930’s which the owner used to save up for the next KdF vacation. The metal box has a slot on the upper right corner for 10 Pfennig coins and a lever that needed to be pushed down after inserting the coin(s), which then moved the displays in the center, showing how many Marks and Pfennigs were already in the box. To empty it there is a flap at the bottom. Its size is 60 x 85 x 130mm or 2-1-2 x 3-3/8 x 5 inches. The mechanics no longer work (maybe they can be repaired, we did not try) but makes an interesting KdF display.
